Jake Bowers is a Fellow at The Policy Lab. In this role, Jake provides expert research and analytic guidance and research design support to a number of projects.
Jake is Associate Professor of Political Science and Statistics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He has served as a Fellow in the Office of Evaluation Sciences in the General Services Administration of the US Federal Government and is Methods Director for the Evidence in Governance and Politics network. Jake holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Ethics, Politics and Economics from Yale University.
